





Fans of walking and cycling will be spoilt for choice, here in Brittany. There are around 1300km of coastal paths, whilst inland, canals cut from north to south and east to west of Brittany. The towpaths are well maintain, and many of the locks are beautifully decorated.
There are many places to hire cycles if you don't wish to take your own.
Huge inland lakes, canals and rivers, and coast all provide plenty of places to enjoy watersports or simply relax on the beach shores. Lac de Guerledan has excellent watersports including canoing and waterskiing.
Fishing permits are available for durations of 1 day to a year. These permit you to fish in any of the plentiful lakes in the department (Morbihan or Côtes d'Armor).
In addition to freshwater fishing, there are lots of companies who offer line-fishing boat trips along the coast, fishing for bass, mullett, mackerel etc.
There are some superb golf courses in Brittany, including Dinard with views over the sea. There are also courses at St Malo, some in the Rennes area, a renowned course at Val Andre, and Plelan Le Petit.
