THE COTTAGE
Our beautiful, stone-built cottage (gite) is situated in a peaceful location in the department of Morbihan in Brittany, and, being centrally located, is within easy reach of all that Brittany has to offer.
Downstairs, the cottage has a large living and dining room, with access to the rear garden. The typically Breton wood-burning stove is a focal point of the room. Large windows look out onto the garden to the front and side, and let the sun flood into the living room. A TV/DVD player and CD player are provided and you will find a selection of films, games and books available for you to enjoy. The fully equipped and newly fitted kitchen is situated off the living room and has everything you could need for your holiday. There is a utility area with washing machine, and downstairs wc off the kitchen.
Upstairs, the three spacious bedrooms comprise a master bedroom with kingsize bed, a double bedroom, and a third bedroom with two single beds. The upstairs windows have childproof locks and there is a stairgate at the top of the stairs. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.
Outside, the large garden has fruit and chestnut trees, for shade in the heat of the day, and plenty of seating for 'al fresco' dining and relaxing. The garden is situated down a long driveway, which is in turn off a quiet country lane, so it is very safe for children. There is gravelled parking for cars at the top of the drive.
